Furniture can be big and awkward to move thereby increasing the likelihood of damage during transportation. Fortunately, there are several ways you can protect fragile furniture when moving.

Make sure you have removed all the parts like wheels and casters. Arm and corner sofas and couches should be wrapped in plastic bags to make sure no one will be broken when you move them. If you have furniture that can be damaged easily, using protective paddings such as towels, blankets, or bubble wrap.
